Marvel has announced another Uncle Scrooge one-shot: Uncle Scrooge: A Christmas Carol #1, slated for release on November 18.
The 2026 holiday issue puts a twist on the Dickens classic. After Scrooge opts for gold over Christmas and ends up spending the holiday alone, three magical journeys force him to revisit his priorities, sending him on an adventure that ventures into space. Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Gyro Gearloose, and Ludwig Von Drake are set to appear.
The Creative Lineup
The script is written by Louise Simonson, who cited Carl Barks and childhood Disney comics subscriptions as a major influence on her early reading habits.
For the interior art, Marvel has recruited a quartet of veteran Italian Disney artists:
- Fabio Celoni
- Paolo Mottura
- Francesco D’Ippolito
- Marco Mazzarello
The main cover is drawn by Walter Simonson.
